Should be on shortly - Dan's just getting to it :-)

You bringing any Gotlands? Were you at Woolfest? Chris Smyth, who did the Ryeland stand and is a great supporter of the Festival, was talking to Gotland folk about coming along.

Not planned to bring any Gotlands as I have never shown them- what category would they go in?  Only bringing Jacobs as bringing the Jacob stand also might bring some to show if you can advise when the dates close for the showing side of things please?

Gotlands would be in "Other Breeds" I would thing unless they are a Northern Short Tail?

Closing date for entries is 6th September.

Chris was talking to Gotland Sheep Society folk at Woolfest and they were keen to have a stand at the Festival, but presumably it will depend on getting someone with Gotland sheep to put ON the stand  :)

I'm not actually sure what we are brining in terms of Jacobs for showing but if there is enough space in the trailer and there are some Gotlands needed for a stand, I can bring a ewe and ewe lamb if that would help? Otherwise I might bring two to show anyways.

What would be the deal in removing a Jacob from the stand to show or would we need to show different sheep from those on the stand? Just trying to think of what can go in the trailer.

It's fine for sheep to move between show pens and stand - we did that last year with the Coloured Ryelands

Gotlands come under Northern short-tailed breed as far as I am aware.
