Lots of puppies!!
« on: June 18, 2013, 11:15:35 am »
Our Black labrador bitch had 10 puppies at the weekend! A little more than we bargined for but we're delighted all the same. If anyone would like one in 8weeks time, we're near Perth and are happy for anyone to come and see them from mid july. They will be well used to my kids by then! There are 8 girls and 2 boys, one of which is golden/red.
Thanks,
OEH.

Wow, thats a good litter......we have 3 Labs and had our fair share of pups........Black Lab pups are so hard to get good photos of until they are a bit older as you cannot see the features, is the boy a Fox Red? or is he just a dark Yellow? I would love a Fox red but not having a male again...well not for now.....my ex was looking for a Black Lab..............our next litter will be Chocolate as our other 2 will not be having pups!! Look forward to photos!

Please post pictures - I really mustn't buy a puppy but I'm so close I'd be tempted to just come anyway for a puppy fix.  I love labs, but then I have about 8 breeds I'd love to have and that would be a bit unwise!

Where are you and what health tests have you done on your bitch and the sire?

How many have you got booked?

I am Secretary of a working gundog club with over 500 members, I could send an email round, when I have details.  PM me if you like.

Hi all thanks for the replies. The red one is a boy, Happygolucky. This is the first time we've had pups so dont have much experience on their colouring but they do have a fox red and a golden grandparent. It does seem too dark for a golden one. The black boy is spoken for as the owners of the father would like him. I've got 3 or 4 girls spoken for too.
Doganjo, they are both KC reg but havent done any health checks. The father is a working gundog. I'll send you a message if we need help finding homes for them, thanks.

I have always sold all our pups before they are 8 weeks old without a  hitch, my last litter, 2 went to the stud dog, a black male went to someone in London and the other one was the most stunning yellow male and i bet the stud dog wished he had kept him as last night he lost his first yellow stud dog male he is granddad to my pups......he was lovely but he has the most wonderful rich life as he has gone to a billionair who owns land and a huge estate in St Andrews but thats just his shooting place as he lived in Belguim.......I so love male dogs too....who knows? Love them!

Hi,
Your puppies sound lovely, well done to the mother having so many.
One of our friends parents had three labradors, one of which died at 16 years last week.  I mentioned your puppies to him and he would like a contact phone number please,  could you pm me with details and how much you want for them.

16!!!!!!   Wow, most of our pups went to people who had lost dogs, so it was nice they helped mend Brocken hearts, one also went to a girl who's lab was 16 when it died, so touching, I love dogs and pupsxxxxx

Sorry, but none of my members will be interested if you haven't at least done hip scoring and eye tests.  Good luck selling them.  I always have a list of potential owners before I do a mating.

They look lovely. Hope you get good homes for them.

Think you can advertise on the KC site but not sure how you stand without health checks.

My father always says that to be described as Fox Red they have to be just that ..... practically as rich in colour as a fox. He has a dark golden lab .... a big handsome dog.
