Is this poo normal?

I recently got 8 ex bats they are looking better 3 days after getting here there is still no eggs....they are in my garden at the moment with a hen house and they go in the garden all day but there poo's look like nuclear poo's picture attached

Yes, perfectly normal. Nothing to worry about as long as they doing more normal looking poos as well as these ones.

If you get too many of these it is an indicator of worms. But in your case Azzdodd it is perfectly normal and can increase with excitement; ex-Batts don't have worms as they haven't been outside.

They were from a free range egg place....person I got them off said they were worked 11 days ago because he said the eggs are ok to eat now. Opened the coop this morning to find 2 dead ones :/

So it could be heavy worm burden then Azzdodd. Trouble is when you kill a lot of worms they give off enough toxins which can kill the hen. You will have to worm them anyway I think. Use Flubenvet, which you will find easiest to administer if you buy the 10Kg bag of Marriages premix.

or do a feacal egg count on them to see what you are dealing with?  I know Happy chicks are now offering the service.

I do my own, which comes in very handy when I am faced with something like that, because at least I know what I am looking for.  I recently did one on Dillon (goat) and found a lot of cocci in.  I then knew what he needed.
