Hi guys & gals,
I've had a nervous breakdown ..well nearly  .....my old PC died Friday and I now have a brand spanking new windows 8 pile of dung .. it's very difficult to follow even harder to find out anything . It has prevented me from going onto many of my regular sites as it keeps saying does not recognise my name or password  even though I've written them down and have then in front of me to check things out .

 I've taken the desperate steps of opening up as a second name . as I'm not even sure that the email system has sent my email out to Rosie and Dan .

I want to come to the coffee afternoon on Thursday to meet a few fellow TAS'ers

I deliberately went for one that was still on Windows 7. Glad I did now. I haven't heard anything positive about Windows 8.

Well Dan sorted things out for me or so we hoped .

 I tried to reset up as Plandoid and I got P /off don't recognise you ..
It might be something to do with the machine code conversions of win 8 to the server ..so now I'm officially keeping to " CLODDOPPER "

Have now  ordered dummies guide to Win 8 ........ hope it's in large print

Sooo peeeeeeeeed with W8! Had it a few months and hate it. I won't use it, prefer iPad. OH cannot do his invoicing with the same program so swaps plugs to very old no wifi computer each time he needs to use it. The only ones using the damn thing are our boys 5y and 10y olds for surfing web or playing games   
It's the pits!
