Hi,
I wanted to be my own boss and do what I want when I want!.
So I have to say that I very Happy now as I am my own Boss, I do what I want when I want and I have a Beautiful wife Julie and Beautiful daughter Tara who enjoy working with all our animals also.
I have a friend who asked me recently "Why I wanted to keep Emu", I was curious as to why he asked so I asked him to answer me a question first.
My question was "Why not" he said "I do not know really it just seemed strange to him that someone would like to keep these animals".
I explained to him that as far as I am concerned if you would like to do something in life you should try your hardest to achieve it or at least come very very close to it.
As far as I am aware you get one chance at life and if you want to do something DO IT so long as no one or thing get mistreated along the way.
I hope you all are able to Reach your Dreams one day.
Wishing everyone a long and Happy live.
Love and best wishes to you all.
Joe  :) :) :)

Joe, too many people sit back and moan about what they want (me sometimes) all you have to do is focus on how you are going to get it and try.....It's not easy for everyone but we are all in charge of our destiny,  not the stars!!!!!

Hi Sandy and Lara,

I am also a Gemini and can fall out with my Shadow but we usually make it up in the end!.
We go every where together really. ;D ;D ;D ;D
Both Julie and I decided we would live each day as it comes when Julie was diagnosed with Cancer.
We were not going to let it get us down and are Happy doing are own thing so long as no one is getting hurt why not!.
I am delighted to say that Julie is in remission now for five years and has no signs of the cancer at all.
Julie does have other side effects but I have to say she doesn't let them get her down.
I try to tell people every day to live life to the fullest, But it is up to them in the end.
Sandy I hope the Garden won, I love to be outside.
I have been making a new aviary for some Lavender Guinea Hens I got for Julie, She is coming back from the UK tomorrow and I would like to have the pen ready.(Only a gate to make)
Kindest regards to all
Joe :) :) :)

Just been digging the boarders where the Hens are and dug up loads of BIG worms, I had to be careful as they all were clambering to get the biggest and were under my fork prongs!!!!!! I love the dead poets society and try to live by the phrase used in it:- "cease the day!!!!" I do, I have and I will!!!...Is that spelt correctly????Oh well...cup of tea.

Hi,
Julie is home and I am glad to have her back. :)
I got my gate done and also a new ark for a pair of Cochin I got.
We have found that there is no use complaining all the time about what life throws at you.
The day we were told Julie had Cancer we were travelling home and there was HUGE delays as there had been an accident it turned out to be a five car pile up where three people were Killed.
We decided there and then that at least Julie had a chance of being cured where as those three had no chance,Not to mention their family's that were going to have to be told about their relatives or possibly a young child's Mammy or Daddy.
THANK YOU for all your kind comments. :) :) :)
Kindest regards and all the best now and in the future.
Joe  :)

I wanted to be a Radiographer in the Navy (Dad wouldn't let me)

Then I got a place in Bradford University to study art - Dad wasn't happy and said I would only make money when dead!!!

Not a lot of encouragement from parents, but finally did everything I wanted - eventually. ::)
