Excited for shearing am a strange?

Last year I did all my own sheep by hañd with hand shears took me FOREVER this year found a nice local bloke to do it for £30 :) ill be honest lady year they looked like the sheep of specs aver advert. Also fleeces there will be 2 black ones and 4 white ones? Anyone want them

I hand sheer my flock every year and just love it and I always get excited and get a pride out of doing a good job. It gives me a good chance to have a close up inspection of my sheep.
Shetland sheep, Castlemilk Moorits sheep, Hebridean sheep, Scots Grey Bantams, Scots Dumpy Bantams. Shetland Ducks.

hmmm I must admit the one time I got a professional shearer in I found the break neck speed very stressful I much prefer doing my own even if it is hard work at times. hopefully getting better at it tho  :)

Your definitely not strange, I love shearing time to!!! And yes I still get excited ;D

If I had 6 like I did at the start I would be looking forward to hand shearing them.


Because there's 18 to do I can't wait for the shearer to arrive.....

Well I'm amazed how fast they work went threw my flock in about 10 mins!
