what do you sell your eggs at per 1/2 doz
as i dont want to charge to much bt i want to be fair
what is reasoable for free range eggs
it is size dependant what would yo chargce for each size eggs
what about duck eggs would they be simular price or more does any sell any at the mo if so how much for
all advice welcomed

I charge 2 euros for ten eggs for the locals, and 2..50 euros for passing holiday makers, to cover any loss in the ' honesty box '

Remember that your free range will be better than Tescos free range.

I sell my hens eggs at £1 for 1/2 doz.

I don't have duck eggs, but the farm next door sells them for the same.

JulieS    We  sell both hen and duck eggs both for a pound a half dozen constantly being told they are too CHEAP but we are happy to cover our costs. Have been told many a time by customers that they have paid between 1.50 -2.50 for free range eggs especially duck which are very hard to get around here, [Fermanagh]

Don't size them - just mix n match sizes and type, then they can't get you to comply with regulations as you aren't 'processing' them.  Also don't wash them.  My really dirty ones sometimes fall into the long wet grass though

I do not size mine, just mixed.  So some are lucky and get large ones, others medium.....luck of the draw.  I charge £1 for half a dozen, but most round here sell for £1.50 half dozen.  Duck eggs are usually £1.50 for six.

I was at a farmers market the other day and saw a stall selling different sizes - ranging from £1 for 6 up to £1.50.  Then he had some extra large ones which were 30p each .....although to be honest they did not seem that big to me, but were selling ok.

same for my duck eggs. that covers feed, oystershell grit and bedding.
