Hi all

just found this forum while looking for some information on pigs.
I'm not a smallholder persee as own a commecial sheep farm, but my wife has taken control of 2 acres of the paddocks around the house and has introduced chickens, quail, a veg garden, using my sheep polytunnel for tomato's, strawberries and peppers for the summer and just applied for her backyard pig number. I've been recruited as the muscle and farming consultant and looking for pig information found this site, must say very good and hopefully I'll keep in touch.

Hello Cran, everyone is welcome here regardless of whether you are a smallholder or not. You might be able to give us some sheepy experience too.

Hi, not a small holder either, moved to Scotland 6 years ago (I think) we did have a few more chickens than I  have now but we re homed some due to wanting to re locate...still have 4 though.  You don't have to be an actor to like films and you do not have to be a smallholder to like smallholding!
