We have just hatched our first eggs in a brinsea and used the one Mel links to through from disinfecting everything to filling the incubator chambers with it during hatching.

interesting - we have had 2 poor hatches this year (6live chicks /20 eggs both times) and although I clean with hot soapy water I dont disinfect or add anything to the water (under a hen isnt sterile)... but I am begining to wonder (this last time most of the eggs had some satge of chick in them).  So interested to hear what people say. Good luck, its the best fun!
