I have been saying for years that Monsanto is evil to the core , and it is . There are many US politicians on Monsantos board and more hiding behind the scenes . They are pushing harder and harder to grow GM crops here . There will be one near you ...you just won't know it  !!!! One of their crops , mon 810 causes sterility , according to tests carried out and published by the Austrian Government. It also contains the Cauliflower Mosaic Virus which, when ingested, lowers the bodies CD 4 cells to a point which, on immune tests, indicate that a person has HIV/AIDS. The lowered CD 4 cells results from eating GMO corn, the staple of the diet in many parts of Black Africa. MON 810 is grown in Europe for animal feed and in many places, including the US, around the world for human food. Can you be sure that it isn't in your chicken feed , or your cattle feed ?  or pig feed ? , or that the meat you are eating wasn't reared on it ?  Where does the meat in that tin of hot dogs come from ? what about the hot dog sausage/hamburger  you had at the agri show the other day ? This company is EVIL , it has nothing but bad on it's agenda , but I still doubt that many will listen ...till it is too late !!!

cheers

Nothing good ever comes from man playing God. How morally corrupt does a portion of mankind have to be, to sacrafice the future of generations to come, for a big wad of greasy dollars in this lifetime? How stupid does a species have to be to bring about its own downfall? It defies belief.

here's a thing

say your pigs have the "patented" monsanto DNA, then surely YOU can sue them for not controlling their pigs, letting their DNA "infect" other animals/herds

you might not want one of their breeds, so unless they properly control where their pigs semen goes, then they risk polluting the population

rather than assert you have stolen from them, i would say they have contaminated me!

american corporations are scary, smithfield bacon, monsanta and the rest should be banned from the uk. they are playing with fire, perhaps they will get burnt!!!

we were having a chat tonight, and since we started producing our own meat, i personally have gone from a size 16 to 12, john has lost weight, the kids look healthier....it makes me wonder if it is down to the fact we no longer eat genetically modified animals? or animals that are fed on genetically modified food.

growth premoting genes or feed must pass from the animal in the food chain to us, perhaps it is why obesity is on the rise world wide?

in america and the uk obesity is on the rise and it seams to fit in with the rise in GM crops and animals.

in the good old days chickens took 6 months to become table birds now the live between 39 and 42 days.... its not natural.

Pigs have gone the same way.

Virus's are becoming resistant to antibiotics, i believe this is due to the fact they are fed to pigs and chickens to increase growth rate.
