Hopefully anyone considering using electric netting for lambs will read this and decide against it so some good will come of it  :fc:

Traditional Utility Breed Hatching Eggs sent next day delivery. Pure bred Llyen Sheep.

I assume the power shorts out?  But perhaps not if it is a strong system? Hedgehogs? Do they get tangled or is it the shock? 

You take care, and dont beat yourself up about it, it has happened and cant be fixed, and you will be feeling sad enough anyway.  but I think for many people now, they wont be using the netting with lambs.  So hopefully this wont happen again.

In our cases the hedgehog got tangled, they did short the system out but (like lambs) don't seem to know to retreat and the spines don't help.

When a lamb gets stuck in a fence it always tries to push forwards and very rarely retreats.
