Hi from Kelso
« on: May 04, 2013, 12:58:05 pm »
hi everyone,

Fascinating site with great inspiration from so many!

We are near Kelso and have a five acre field next to the house which presently houses the local mole population, a fine crop of ragwort and little else.  Seriously considering puting it to better use with a few sheep, hens and a couple of pigs eventually.  Veg plot and orchard already earmarked.
We are still at the planning stage ( or more accurately the blissfully ignorant stage) but are faced with the same quandry of so many of whether to carry on with full time jobs  and a steady income or just saying 'sod it'  and do what we really want.

Whatever we decide, it will definitely involve a tractor.

Look forward to following everyones progress out there

Hi and welcome from the eastern side of the borders, we have just bought another 6.77 acres and husband and son are desperate for a tractor.
