Hello I'm looking for anyone who has or knows of people selling day old chicks and hens may take a rooster at a later date but I have built a large run and it would be good to get quite a few young birds for it hope you can help and thank you in advance :chook: :farmer:

CSSA are about to set Hubbards(in about a week I think, so day olds ready in about a month) , then we'll be doing Turkeys after that.  Stuart Conway, our Chair has the details - moregin on here.  Our incubator is in Grangemouth area.  We have orders for 50 or so at present, incy holds 100 so still time to book.
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

Hello there,

Last year we charged £1.50 per chick but we've not contacted anyone re availability and cost of eggs or feed costs yet but it would be a good guideline price.  How many do you think you would want if any?  I am only over in Grangemouth so we can arrange swapping over somehow once they are on the ground.
Regards

Stu
