Hay all
« on: April 12, 2013, 07:22:59 pm »
Hello all I'm just got myself my first peice of land (4acers) and I'm about to start a very small hobby buisness called newton's rare breed pork. I'm starting with 6pigs that come next weekend and 6 sheep as lawn mowers.
I have also thought about raising turkeys.
I have never done anything like this before so I'm very very excited to say the least!! :excited:

great stuff and I hope it all goes well. "Hobby" - well I hope you have lots of time to pursue the hobby. ;D
The turkeys should be a good earner I guess. Eaten all year round here ( France)- very popular.

Unless you already have a sales outlet be very careful you dont get stuck with the stuff, that happened to me. So slowly does it maybe?

Welcome.     Have fun .... and check out the motto on bottom of my postings  :innocent:
Linda

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Let go of who you are and become who you are meant to be.

Hello and welcome

Your plans sound really interesting. How much land do you have and which part of the country are you in?
