lamb having seizures

I took in some bum lambs last spring and had a ball, but wasn't planning on doing it this year...was at a friend's ranch last weekend helping her lamb, and ended up with another. he was really sick -- having seizures and not eating. he was healthy for the first few days after he was born, but after 5 days went down hill (he is just over a week old now...). my friend gave him colostrum after he was born, but she thought maybe it wasn't enough. we figured he wouldn't last the night, so i mostly took him in just to make him comfortable in his last hours. well that was 3 days ago. he is eating and seems better every day, but he still can't stand for very long and when he tries to walk he falls. He is also still having seizures -- some of them last a long time. I never expected him to make it, and now i am not sure what to do. Is it possible he will recover? of course now i am more attached to him and the seizures seem very traumatic. i am worried it was wrong to help him in the first place!

The longer you keep him the harder it will be to do the right thing. something far wrong with this little lamb.
