One of my babies (2 weeks 2 days) is limping on his rear leg. Just managed to catch him and have a look and it looks  a little bit swollen between his toes. No obvious injury, scratches etc and doesn't feel hot to touch. Any ideas? Not really sure what else to look for/ what things look like?!!

Spray with antibiotic spray. Is it white looking? Might be scald.

A bit of mud that had dried then fallen out?  Happened to some of my ewes and it was like a sliver of stone.  Took it out and they were fine in a couple of days.

Watch him carefully, if he shows any signs of being dopey, lying down more than normal, it could be jointill, not a problem if you catch it early, needs antibiotic and painkiller injections, you will need to get mum and him in or you may have trouble catching him as he improves.

We had one who managed to break a leg last year.  She ended up in a plaster cast.  We had to adapt the barn so mum could get out onto some grass.  This is her with her brother
