Through Ravelry I have had spinners from Canada, Alaska and Switzerland visiting last summer. I can't believe it either.

Sally, I am going on the Saturday as well.  Maybe we could meet up (and any other TASers that might be there.   I have been asking on Ravelry if anyone can give me a lift as I don't really want to tackle a two hour drive but no joy so far.  My friend here would have love to have come but is already booked that weekend so my OH has been press-ganged into coming as I need help getting the wheelchair in and out the car.

Yes, it would be great to meet up.  My drive is an hour but I don't fancy it either so my OH has been drafted in too.  Perhaps we should set up a meeting for those press-ganged   :roflanim:

There's an idea.  Providing there was music and tea on tap, my OH would be happy as Larry.  Have you been before?

Yes, I went last year. It was spoilt for me by the weather. Although its inside its in the big sheds they use for cattle showing and was sooo cold I couldn't feel my fingers or toes.

There was lots of interesting things and loads to buy.  I am after some coned wool for weaving. Don't suppose thats all I will buy though.

This year I will be better prepared with gloves etc, perhaps we will have a heatwave then  :roflanim:

I daren't buy any more stuff.  I have spent a fortune over the last few weeks - wheel, drum carder, weaving frame, warping board, swift, niddy noddy x 2, fleeces and tons of yarn.  No harm in looking though.  :innocent:

Where would be a good place to meet up?  I know some Ravelers are meeting but I'm not sure where.  Sounds like I'm going to need my thermals, although I suppose it could get warmer by then.

C0ffee and Cake sounds good to me and we should be there by 12 o'clock.  I'll pm my mobile number and if you don't mind me having yours, we can let the other know if there's any hold up.
