Dafydd is actually the Welsh form of David,

Is it?! Learn something every day eh? I heard the name and liked it so much it's why I named my Muscovy drake Dafydd the wonder duck (although the wonder duck part came later!)
We'll turn the dust to soil,
Turn the rust of hate back into passion.
It's not water into wine
But it's here, and it's happening.
Massive,
but passive.

Not to be confused with 'dafad' - which is the Welsh word for sheep  ;D :sheep: :sheep:

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Let go of who you are and become who you are meant to be.

"Taffy was a Welshman, Taffy was a thief;
Taffy came to my house and stole a side of beef
I went to Taffy's house, Taffy wasn't in;
I jumped upon his Sunday hat and poked it with a pin"   :thinking:

I'm Welsh (mostly) and when we moved from Wales to Shrewsbury, my new step-dad used to recite this frequently. Dafydd is actually the Welsh form of David, but the river through Cardiff (I think - could be Swansea?) is called the Taff. Perhaps the two were combined to make the character's name in the rhyme? Taffy is also the American word for toffee  ;)

He's a lovely looking little lamb, well done you!  :thumbsup:

The Taff is the river that ends up in cardiff. Never call someone from Swansea a Taffy (they are a Tawe if anything), they won't thank you for it!

He looks like a very good lamb, perhaps you could enter him in some lamb ram classes this year and see how he shapes up.
Could be a keeper.....?

I should hope so. Sally purchased her ewes from me and used my unrelated rams, so there should be some good ones. ;D

Buffy, I wouldn't know where to start with a show but I guess its always a possibility.
As Karen has said I got my ewes from her and used her rams too. She has some good stock so there is the chance he might be a winner.  Let him grow up a bit before we put the medal round his neck  :roflanim: .

He's lovely Sally. It's true that feeling comes back everytime it's lambing time. I'm getting so excited about ours kicking off I can't tell you  :excited:
