Sheeps fleeces
« on: June 26, 2009, 03:20:28 pm »
Are these of interest to anyone on here?

I have two very large white fleeces off Shropshire sheep.  They were not sheared last year, so there is a lot of wool there.  Unwashed obviously, but any mucky bits have been removed!!

One much smaller fleece, off our Shetland sheep, this is black.

Any interest before I stick them on e bay or somewhere?!!!

I would love to try spinning one day, but just have so much on, and probably would not get round to it in the forseeable future!!

I am from the Peak District in Derbyshire ......and you are probably at the other end of the country......??

If you look under sheep, you will see my post, and the fleece is off Bertie.    That was our first time shearing him, and I was surprised to find I had a black sheep under that fleece.
