As an organic gardener, I have read plenty of material about GM and have decided that, IMO, it is dangerous.  We are being fed too much by the powers that be who tell us is is perfectly safe while raking in the profits.

As an example, some 12 or so years ago a friend thoroughly researched aspartame.  She found numerous papers that said it was safe and an equal number that said it was not safe.  Further research revealed that EVERY paper that said it was safe was written by a company who profited in some way from the sale of aspartame.  I have carefully avoided it since then.  Now we are getting reports that it is not safe.

We are told that GM foods are the only way to feed the world, yet it is well known that there is enough food to feed the world if some countries didn't insist on having more than they need.

I'm not particularly politically minded, but it's impossible to avoid learning about these things.
