First Ryelands of 2013

First of this years Ryelands arrived 12.30am yesterday morning. Sire a good ram lamb and as shows very eager to bring the first ones out of the pot. ;D
Penybont Ryelands. Ystwyth Coloured Ryelands.  2 alpacas, 2 angora goats, 2 anglo nubian kids, 3golden retrievers a collie and a red fox labrador retriever, geese, ducks & chickens.

I think Ryelands ARE particularly bonny lambs - but then I have them.

Here's my first coloured lamb of season, out of overall Royal Welsh winner of coloured Ryelands. Well chuffed.

Usually they get lighter with age - we have chocolate brown ones to silvery grey ones  :)

They are great!  If I wasn't so stupid, I'd put up some pics of our Southdown lambs.  They are on f/b and twitter - sorry!

Yes I will have some for sale later on in the year after weaning.
