Hello everyone.

I am a 2nd year student at the university of Plymouth and I am undertaking a research project into pig vocalisations.

If you are able to spare a couple of minutes your time  to answer my survey i would be very grateful!  http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/LWYBNL7

If you have any questions, comments or criticisms, feel free to post them here and i will answer them

As a some sort of thanks, here my own pigs

Thank you for your time

Not sure what the question "When do the pigs start vocalising" Do you mean from what age (eg "6 weeks old") , or at what time (eg "as I get there?" or "only at feeding time")

Good luck with your work !

Thanks for your answers, i should have made that question more clear! I was asking what sort of time they begin vocalising.

Technology! I'll check the samples, but the website is set to stream (play) the sound automatically without any messing about or downloading. Thanks for your responses!

It might be the same thing I did wrong to start with BB  :innocent:
I copied the whole line of text into the bar, you only need the bit from http: in order for it to work  :dunce: In my defence, I was still sleepy  :tired: :roflanim:

Done. Very interesting, what are you trying to discover?
I can "talk"to my pigs: the single grunt encourages them to move into a trailer or through a gate, the warning multiple grunts warn the young ones that they are getting too boisterous and need to back off.
Pig whisperer?  ;) :pig: :pig: :pig:
