My husband refuses to be on Facebook although he very nearly did, his friends are on my page.....I love it, I can chat to good old friends and make wonderful connections...my spelling is so bad but no spell check unless I write stuff first but I am not organised enough for that.....Facebook can be bad but if  you are careful its great......

vfr, I wouldn't worry about it.  I have facebook but rarely use it. The only 'friends' I have on there are genuine friends and not the 100's and 1000's that some people have claim to have as friends.

I have Facebook but only genuine friends on it, I find it a really good way to keep up with family that I very rarely see. I have to admit to playing some of the games too, my excuse for that is the fact that my OH works away and so I am in alone most nights and it helps pass long dark nights when telly is crap. :-J

I got stuck into candy crush last night, Daisys mum! Only because hubby away on a gig - the kids were playing it too. Can't do farmville though!

I find that Facebook is the only way I can find what my daughters are up to!! I only have good friends on there, I love seeing pictures and reading jokes. I also love it when I see my friends are on at the same time so that I can chat to them.
Im also on Twitter, but Ive never tweeted, I dont know how it works to be honest, but I use it fo follow my favourite actors and sportsmen. David Bumble Lloyd is great to follow. He is just mad!

I did use Twitter a lot but do not use it so much but mine is linked to FB anyway. When the riots were on in London, a good friend was scared, she lived there, I was chatting to some one on Twitter for updates as they happened, its good when you get the hang of i!!
