Well done  It's not easy and neither should it be, but if we want to keep milking goats, we have to eat the billy kids really.

Well done,   it must have been hard, something I'm gonna have to do at some point
But I do love a good goat curry  :excited:
How long did you say it would take me to dig this 5 acres with my spade?

It did help that Debbie and I were in the same position.  What was really hard was today when I had to ring the abbatoir to tell the how I wanted him butchered.  The butcher was telling me what a great goat he was, as in well covered for this time of year when a lot of animals are thinner and obviously well fed, and I had to keep reminding  myself that we were just talking about some meat, not my boy.

Well done .....its so hard to do with goats- they do worm their way into your affections. I do tend to sell my males when they are small, so I do not get attached.

Curry had a good life with you, and thats the important thing.  I will not be joining you for the goat curry - one thing I cannot eat.....curry of any description :)

Huge pat on the back.  As i say to my three year old (and to myself really!); we feed them and look after them and then they are turned into meat.
