Rams in the kitchen!!
« on: February 03, 2013, 09:44:13 pm »
Four of my big burly boys came in the kitchen tonight when OH went to call the dogs in. It was actually rather lovely and felt utterly normal! Winston, Dante, D'Artagnan and Noah all came in to say hello having escaped their electric fenced paddock (with an obviously flat battery) They had a nosey at what I was cooking for tea, weren't interested in my mangetout, had a drink from the dogs bowl and generally a good wander around and went out again. D'Arty came back a second time and when shooed back out and the inside and outside lights were turned off I could still see the outline of his ears as he peered in through the french doors. Bless him. Now one of those would keep me warm tonight...Better than a dog and a hottie bottie. They'll be fine until the morning as the perimeter is more soundly fenced. Oh, but it was quite charming, and not a dropping in sight.

Can you train one to lie still as a pillow all night?  :D
We'll turn the dust to soil,
Turn the rust of hate back into passion.
It's not water into wine
But it's here, and it's happening.
Massive,
but passive.

Bring the peace back

They're such sweethearts, absolute mummies boys who love a cuddle and a scratch. As for laying still to be a pillow, hmmm, I might work on that...D'Arty may be accommodating.

They were still roaming around this morning and had a good nosey when the local tyre repair people came to sort out the tractor which got a puncture yesterday. They just settled down around him whilst he got on with his work. I think he was quite amused  ;D  All back in the paddock now, contented after their adventures.

My 6 lambs broke into the kitchen last year, the dog looked at them in disgust, they thought it was fantastic! OH wasn't too happy though hehe...
