Hi there, we have had our friendly lab for two seasons now. Last year he produced a great crop of single lambs, both GFD and shetland crosses. He has also been away on 'holiday' serving some other ewes over the winter. We are just waiting for lambing this year but it looks as though he has done another good job. We are keeping some of his daughters and so we now need to bring in another ram and we would be interested in either selling him or swapping for an unrelated ram. Would prefer a GFD if possible but would consider a Shetland ram. Our lad Bernard is a friendly chappie and is bucket trained, and a little bit halter trained, although he is quite strong. He grows a fantastic fleece. He does have feet that are a little bad as they overgrow in the wrong direction but so far we have only seen that trait be passed on to one tup GFD lamb so I think it can be controlled if bred to ewes with good feet. Offers invited. Thanks for looking. P
