Sometimes things go for less at auctions Helen, there were a few wethers at auction last year and (pure breds) that went for between £40 and £70 depending on their markings.

Now now settle down, they were all from a well regarded north of england rare breeds farm park, so I should imagine clean and perfect.

So sorry to hear about Ben, I lost my pygmy nanny recently and I know how much it hurts. I have a golden guernsey wether about 9 months old whose days were numbered, but would be very happy for him to be a companion if nothing else worked out and you felt your other goat needed company. He is with a pygmy billy at the moment and other ggs and they are all friendly and get on fine. Let me know.Hope all works out for you. Fu

Thanks all.

Bill seems happy with Dusty at the moment and we are possibly going to take Anke's very kind offer up.

Still seems strange to only have 1.

Really sorry to read your news, Helen. I lost 2 goats in my first year of goatkeeping and it was awful so I can appreciate how you are feeling.
