Wanted hatching eggs Central Scotland
« on: June 11, 2009, 07:37:37 am »
One of my Black Rocks ahs gone broody and seems quite determined. I don't think my cockerels are up to much, so if anyone has or knows of pure breed fertilised eggs in Central Scotland, I'd be happy to buy some.

Thanks

Rosemary - you can have some of my light Sussex if you want.  They're from Carol as you know so I think are pure? Mind you, might be brother/sister matings  ;) ;D ;D ;D

Rosemary I have bought all my incubated duck eggs off e bay and have enjoyed a very high hatching rate. That's a shame that you have had bad experiences.

I'll pop round with some tomorrow morning, Rosemary.  No guarantee of fertility but Jamie does work!  The ex batts keep out of his way. ;D ;D ;D ;D

I hope they don't keep out of the way too much! Hen now very happy with her eggs, although she chucked one out! Maybe she just didn't have room.

same question here for my friend who just acquired an incubator. She is in North Fife and was already checking out ebay, but maybe someone has any up here? :&>

Jamie is serving his ladies quite well, I think.  So if anyone wants Light Sussex pures or ex batt x Light Sussex, let me know.  He even tries my ducks too but Jack sees him off.  Jack is quite busy with the duckie girls too.
