My AN x female has developed over the last couple of weeks, what looks like a light coloured crusty ring around her eyes.  I thought nothing of it at first thinking she has mud on her face but on closer examination (now christmas is over and I have more time) this funny ring around her eyes.  She is eating as normal and appears the same as ever.  Not one of the other 7 goats have this so it cant be catching.  I will try for a photo to post on.  Anyone have any ideas?

If it's actually crusty, that points to an eye infection, which you can get antibiotic ointment from the vet for, or jag her with oxytetracycline.

If it's the hair that has gone pale round her eyes, that suggests a copper deficiency which can be alleviated with minerals - a red Rockie lick for example.

I would also think it's most likely an eye infection, best treated with Orbenin eye ointment. Has to be smeared onto the eye/eye lid couple of times a day if I remember correctly. Could be dusty hay? I would still be on the lookout for the other ones, I have had isolated incidents of pink eye in my sheep, but (touch wood) no full outbreak as yet.
 
Orf could also cause crusty scabs around the eye, if she has been scratching them on wood for example.
