I have finished decorating, deciding to keep it simple this year.

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

That's my kind of decoration. Very nice. For a friend's 40th I managed a chunky 40 in marzipan on a wonderful cake covered in thick chocolate... Just about the most basic you can get, but very effective - and even I could do it!

Oh I like it Bionic, very design-y - I made the picture bigger and it looks great.  Don't like eating those little ball things though  :-J
registered soay, castlemilk moorit  and north ronaldsay sheep, pygmy goats, steinbacher geese, muscovy ducks, various hens, lots of visiting mallards, a naughty border collie, a puss and a couple of guinea pigs

Neat!  Looks lovely.  Perhaps we should all get a taste, too.  You know, just to be sure that its as good as it looks  :innocent:

Doug, It was the only star cutter I could get and didn't realise until you said that it was the Star of David.
I don't think anyone in my family will notice anyway.
That worktop is actually my table made in an Indian hard wood of some sort.

To be honest I don't really like christmas cake. I enjoy making it more.  ;D
