The sky here cleared last night and the stars were very bright, especially as there's no moon.  My OH and I saw half a dozen weeny meteors then later I saw a big one  :thumbsup:  I suppose the shower is just about over.
 
 I also looked at the nebula in Orions belt, and at the Pleiades (Subaru, like my car  ;D ) using binoculars.  I wish I had a simple telescope.  We have an old huge one which is far too complicated to use, for me anyway.  I was trying to see the moons of Jupiter but my hands are too shaky to make them out.  Still, I'm really chuffed that eventually I did see some meteors.
