Taken from my lounge window yesterday morning.  Those really were the colours - I thought it was the aurora again.

Those colours are amazing, I can't believe there's no filter on your camera! How I wish I was back in Bonnie Scotland

Amazing.

So, 'red sky at night, shepherd's delight; red sky in the morning, shepherd's warning; purple dawn...??????:D

Great picture, what fabulous colours. We had a red sky yesterday morning too and I couldn't help wondering what is brewing. Very frosty here this morning but quite nice if you are dressed up for it.
