Hello yet again from Sandy
« on: November 14, 2012, 05:13:02 pm »
A lot of you will know me and some will not, I have been around still since leaving but now, after so many questions floating in my head I thought I would pop back in.
I run a B&B after years upon years of Social Care in all its forms, my husband does the same. I was married to a farmers son but he had no interest at all and neither did I although his side still has farms in Leicestershire. I have 3 grown up daughers, 2 now live in Austrailia with 6 grandchildren between them, the latest to go has now got herself a smallholding, she was on here also......I now only have my youngest around but not near as I am in Scotland and she is in Northamptonshire.
I did have loads of chickens and a pair of Ducks but now just have 4 hens, none got killed or died I  just downsized as we hope to move, the B&B is good business but no freedom and expensive to keep going, so, when we sell we can move where we want, some houses I have seen have land others do not, but we aime not to have a morgage or a tiny one....we will see, I love my Labs and have had some pups that now are all in wonderful homes, a lot of them in working homes as they are excellant gun dog type Labs, we hope to have a litter from our Chocolate lab later next year and we will keep one of them but then thats it, I also take them gun dog training, they are brill and am going beating soon!!!!
THats me, I have a sense of humor but hate predudice of ANY sort so please, I will report any abuse.....thanks...by the way, most people on here are wonderful xxxxx

I'm with you on the prejudice, Sandy.  Nothing more likely to get me riled.

Hi ppd...... there have been a lot of emotions and interesting things going on, I was on here for a while  but signed in under my now name and did not post, I love seeing others comings and goings, successes, failures. happy, fun and sometimes sad times, that's life, my daughter is still signed up, she never left and kept chickens, ducks and pigs, now they have gone down under and have a small holding as her partner works for a farmer and the kids also help on the farm, so back to her roots, her dad was a farmers son but her dad, my ex detested it all!!!!!  I am not up to speed with whats gone on as I spend far too much time on the net, I "work" from home so have access to this site (and other things) all day, so I may catch up, but just the B&B and a few chickens and our Labs, for now.......watch this space as we are hoping to sell.......my husband recons we will be out of here in 2014  :roflanim: :roflanim:
