Hmmmm, couldn't buy any of that Spot stuff without having a vet here first, so asked one of my neighbors; he said 'just dust some ant powder lightly in the straw they sleep in'. I tried it and the Tamworth, who was really struggling with about 40-50 lice on him, appeared the next morning with ZERO lice on him. Applied it again to the straw 10 days later, and that killed all the new ones that had hatched since the last treatment; not seen any for 6 weeks since and he never seems to have been bothered at all by the powder. All for £2.99. It contains the same chemical as used in all lice treatment - horse lice powder (about 7.99) also works well for pigs, I have been told.
