It did go well! The Very Handsome Tallis welcomed our girls manfully, and they seemed (in the main) very happy indeed to see him. Chanel positively leapt out of the van, shook her tail seductively and they both got down to business within the blink of an eye. Coco was warm and polite, accepted a little mutual sniffing, but was not for taking matters any further at present, and Bunny hid behind me and asked to be introduced at a later date!
We left them tucked up in a lovely old barn with views of the surrounding hills and countryside. As harems go, it is a cosy and welcoming space and there were a variety of new goats for our BTs to meet - including some very elegant British Saanens. I was particularly fascinated to meet the original Toggenburgs - much smaller, hairier and blonder than our British Toggenburgs.
It was really lovely to meet you both, Perdita and Tizaala, as well as your father, Perdita. Thank you for the warm welcome, the delicious tiramisu and for showing us your lovely smallholding. Hope our ladies behave for you, and that the mud (oh, what mud!) dries up for you soon. While our mud is deeper and stickier, yours is by FAR more widespread...
