Hurrah! noone can resist their charms - ours is 9 now but still makes me crack up. Esp when she lies on her back with a raw carrot to eat and gnaws it like an otter eating a fish.....:-DD Or gives you the 'look' sideways with the whites of her eyes showing that means she is just about to steal something, go mad doggo round and round the room or stick her head into your cup of tea like a plunger so you cant remove her head until all tea gone....:-DD
Enjoy your Border very very much, I have no doubt you will!

Quite excited really. Should go and pick up (all things being equal) 10:00am Saturday. Have just bought all the necessary bits and bobs for when he (though could still be a she) comes home.  ;D ;D

The border terrier is a great working dog and hope you have a great time with your pup.

We have a black patterdale bitch Mavis which is pregnant to a border terrier which is due in around 3 weeks and also have a fell type patterdale bitch Frannie which are on the farm which help to keep the rodent population down.

We have had a few invasions if moles in the garden and mavis has sounded them out and eradicated the problem by dispatching them for us which was fascinating to see.

Yes - I suspect there is a streak of naughtiness in Monty who only 8 weeks old has taken to stealing wifes slipper, chewing things he shouldn't and a tap on the nose is seen as playtime.

I loved ours, we called him Billy, he would howl when left, pee everywhere and as it was a tiny amount I did not notice it until I took my shoes off, then he would run off and not come back, that was his downfall when we moved as some one left the front door open and off he went in front of a car......My friend as a border terrier but she lives in a rural setting and he goes off on a regular basis......I love a dog with charactor!! :dog:
