Organic feed?
« on: October 26, 2012, 11:20:23 am »
Hi,
I am thinking about feeding my chickens organic pellets, as i have read that many regular brands are full of fillers eg. soya, that may not be beneficial or particularly healthy to the chickens.  I was wandering what others think, and if you do feed organic pellets, which are the best?  At the moment my chickens are freerange, have layers pellets in the morning and mixed corn in the afternoon.

Thanks,  Katie.

Why would organic pellets be any better?

Got to agree there why not either cut down the amount of layers you give them or replace them altogether with corn.
