Cheers all, I feel like a piece of the furniture already  . Not a favourite piece mind you -  more of a Freecycle special that doesn't really fit anywhere yet, doesn't match anything else and could be a major pain in the arse if it doesn't make itself useful soon...

Nope, your at least one step above freecycle, maybe one of those big second hand furniture warehouse acquisitions, its certainly something that would do the job, but maybe not what you'd have if you could buy new
