Afternoon all :). Just thought I'd poke my head over the gate and say hello . I'm in the process of buying a few acres over the border in Leicestershire, just sorting out the finances  :tired:. Look forward to joining the ranks of landed gentry such as yourselves   :-J.

Thanks  ;D. Weather's obviously heading North, we had rain all night into this morning but it's lovely down here now  :sunshine:.

Hello and welcome

When we bought this place, Dan's brother told folk his brother owned an estate in Angus - all 12 acres  ::)

Landed gentry ;D ;D ;D

That made me chuckle!
Hello from the back of a truck in soggy Somerset
We'll turn the dust to soil,
Turn the rust of hate back into passion.
It's not water into wine
But it's here, and it's happening.
Massive,
but passive.

Bring the peace back

Cheers all, I feel like a piece of the furniture already  ;D. Not a favourite piece mind you -  more of a Freecycle special that doesn't really fit anywhere yet, doesn't match anything else and could be a major pain in the arse if it doesn't make itself useful soon...  :innocent:

Nope, your at least one step above freecycle, maybe one of those big second hand furniture warehouse acquisitions, its certainly something that would do the job, but maybe not what you'd have if you could buy new  ;D ;D ;D    ;D ;D ;D

Now it's not everyday you get a compliment like that... in fact -  I can't remember the last time I was likened to a DFS sofa   ;D
