Happy story ...... in brief ....... coming up.......

Me 48, divorced  :thumbsup: for 10 years, 3 grown children and a grandchild,

.....goes to Tanzania  :sunshine: to build school room.     

There meets Ian, widower who only lives an hour from me in England.  friendship  :thinking: .

 Go out together for 49th birthday ...   :hug: .....

......that was  2 years ago next Wednesday (yep will be 51 :innocent: :innocent:!) ...... during that 2 years .....we have canoed the Thames (yes all of it),    raised over £2000 to support Tanzanian girl through college, tried snowboarding, walked and cycled miles, started thinking about smallholding,   built church extension in Kenya (summer 2012) ,plan to support the girls hostel there in future, got engaged on 14.2.12 (I asked him)  :excited: stayed in Wales  :raining: a lot viewing small holdings, sold 2 houses (ssc   :fc:  :fc: ) planned a wedding (Dec 22nd 2012), honeymoon is climbing Atlas Mountains at New Year   and have just had offer accepted on our dream smallholding........... :farmer: :excited: :excited: :excited:

It's a big old house and there's a wall runs through it top to bottom and front to back, we're closing up the openings in that wall effectively splitting the house in half. A bit of judicious work with pipes and wires and hey presto.

Well done! Sounds like a fun job!...It halves everything, cleaning, heating, nagging etc. In fact I could do it to my house, me on one side - and just brick up the other. :innocent:
