Since we've all posted about how rotten the rain has been............ the tremendous amounts of snow and problems over the winter...........and the howling gales that nearly blew us off our feet....

I want to celebrate the sunshine     

It's been lovely all afternoon and really warm here in Lanarkshire, there's been talk of a mini heatwave (but I think that might be a BIT optimistic  ) whatever it is - I love it !
Here's hoping this is the start of the better weather

My polytunnel was SO hot today! I could almost see the plants growing!

Every time I take my waterproofs off it starts raining again.  They say this weekend is going to be good.  We are off to a Tudor Festival at Chatsworth on Sunday.  Hope they have a spit roast!!
