...on it ever drying out enough to be able to mow the lawn again this year, so we've turned to more traditional methods  ;)

And cheaper to run - have you seen how much it costs to fill a petrol can these days?  :o

My son just suggested that after strimming my front paddock - ride-on mower paced in again.  But I'm just a bit wary in case they are stolen as I'm at the edge of a village. and to be honest I couldn't be bothered with faffing around wit Defra and their rules.

Defra rules aren't too bad for sheep. Tag them and then fill in forms if you move them.

Wouldn't the dogs bark if someone came at night? And neighbours would see anything during the day.

If you had something distinctive (ie not white commercial sheep) then people would know they were yours if they got out. I live in a 'proper' farming dale so no-one but me has Shetlands  :D

Go on  ;)

I'd need a CPH, a movement licence, tags etc - my dogs are inside and didn't alert me to the fox.  People walk down our lane and into the adjacent field with dogs, or onto the bypass, there are robbers abounding down here - think I'll give it a miss and get a push mower.  :-J  Might help fight the flab as well  ;D :fc:
