This is aimed mainly at 'plums' but how do you prep your plums to make wine.?

stone?
chop?
Squeeze in press?
I can do all but do you?

I just crush the plums by hand in the bucket, removing the stones as I go.

Hubby uses a crusher followed by a press. He makes about 400 bottles each year though (I drink 'some' of it!)

First one we ever did was also our first wine. I peeled each plum and pitted them lol. Got a lovely white wine. Now I just remove the dtones. Good luck!

Well its upstairs bubbling (well it was yesterday...today its miserable so a bit chilly for much yeast action)
I ended up whizzing them as the machine didnt want to chop!! Next time I thought I would just press the halves as the whizzed stuff was very messy to press and still seemed wet at the end
