My broody is sitting on four babies hatched yesterday. There are 2 cockerels and 3 other hens in the coop with them, do I need to separate her and her babies from them or are they OK all together??

Hi

Yes I would seperate them, if possible try and make it so they can all still see each other.

To a degree I think this depends on the breed and therefore the nature of the bird. I have pekins who have run with their chicks, cockerel and other hens without a problem, but have had Marans who have been the polar opposite. Why don't you give it a go and see what happens - if there is a problem, then separate them, if not, let sleeping dogs lie!!!
