Hi from SW Scotland
« on: May 15, 2009, 11:21:24 am »
Hi tehre!
I'm anthony and with my partner Joseph and our 2 greyhounds (Paddy and Zak) i run a small guesthouse and cottage rental business in rural Wigtownshire - having moved up form subnurban Yorkshire almost 2 years ago.  Having got the house and front garden in order, I'm just starting to get my veggie patch off the ground, and we have just built a chicken run and hope to get our first four hens in a couple of weeks. Hope to get lots of ideas and advice - and hopefully offer some too!
Two blokes, 2 hounds and a rural retreat in Galloway

Welcome Anthony, I just got some hens last week and they are great to have around the place. I have always had ducks and geese and had never really wanted hens but now I have them I really like them. Good luck with your plans.
