Somebody more knowledgeable wil be along soon but I planted out some brocolli and winter/spring cabbages just last weekend. I had to buy them as plug plants (more expensive) as I hadn't got it together to do seedlings over the summer.... but next year I'll be ready.
I also planted a trench of autumn tatties. They were going cheap as they are all sprouted now so I expect they're getting to the end of the season on those.
There's also things like winter lettuce, chard and pak choi and autumn planted onions and garlic which will overwinter and steal the march on sets planted in spring although you run the risk of loosing a few over winter I guess and their beds need a bit of preparation.
