LOST ANYTHING ?
« on: August 28, 2012, 07:41:43 am »
This was found in a Manchester house yesterday, the fire brigade called in a spider expert as they were too scared to swat the bloody thing,
It would have made a mess of the wall though, but in Manchester who would notice ?  :raining:

I am no wuss normally but I suspect I am the biggest arachnaphobe on here. I am nearly crying just looking at the pic :'(

If that was in the bedroom I wouldn't be going to bed.  Can't sleep if I can see one in the room.  We have some whoppers here but that is one helluva beastie.
When we were renovating the house and sleeping in the touring caravan on the back doorstep my daughter (grown up I might add) decided she would sleep on a mattress on the floor in what was going to be her new bedroom.  I was asleep in the caravan (minus OH as he was working away) and at about midnight my phone rang and it was her screaming to open the caravan door as a monster of a spider had just run across the screen of her laptop.  We don't get quite so many now but the cellar is a creepy place to visit!
Doing that swan thing - cool and calm on the surface but paddling like crazy beneath.

Now I'm wearing my specs but it still looks like an exploded power point with electricity cables sticking out, think I'll keep it at that and not attempt to click for a bigger image  8)
