Its show time
« on: August 27, 2012, 08:24:23 pm »
Although it peed down with rain all day I did enter Archie into 2 classes. The weather was so bad that I couldn't groom him but nonetheless in the puppy class he got 2nd and in the most handsome dog he came 1st.  There were 8 dogs in that class so I was well chuffed.
To be honest Archie didn't know what to make of it all but I have given him a nice dinner tonight to celebrate.  :dog: ;D

Well done!  You'll be looking for the next show now!  Looks like you enjoyed it.

Thanks Annie, yes I did enjoy it. It was also good for Archie to socalise as he doesn't get to see many other dogs, or people for that matter.
I will definitely show him again at the local shows.
There is usually a fancy dress competition and I am trying to think what we can do for that.
There was one woman with an Irish wolfhound and she went as little red riding hood and her dog was dressed as granny, complete with bloomers. They won the class.
