Day 21
« on: August 16, 2012, 08:58:35 am »
Its day 21 for the eggs I bought through the post. They have been under my broody and this morning I noticed a little crack starting to appear in one. Keep your fingers crossed  :fc:

Just a reminder, the day the eggs are started, broody or incubator, is day 0. The following day is day one which is one elapsed day into the process.

I am terrible when they get to that stage in the incubator, always having a peak seeing how they are getting on.
I just can't wait!

Even cracked 2 after I found one had died in the shell. They both lived and are happy little duckies.
Next time going to try no looking no touching

Good luck send pics!!

After all my years of hatching eggs I know of few things more wonderful than watching a new life emerge from an egg. Delivering lambs, piglets, puppies and grandchildren is awesome too
Last year I took an incubator and eggs to a nursing home near here and this was so popular that I have a waiting list now ;D

Love day 21-23 (though it is a life sucker if they are in an incubator in the kitchen!!).  Congrats (seen the pics)!
