With the proof they can get nowadays I think they should bring back the death penalty, put them to sleep and be done . It would have to be beyond doubt and have the full agreement of the family that has suffered , they should have the say as the murderer/s had theirs when they commited their 'execution'.

There was a news interview with the producer of the documentary thats coming out soon, the interviewer asked him if it was a publicity stunt .......it was fascinating to watch his blink rate double when he replied...... I think I won't be watching this program why support these evil bastards.

I agree with Mandy too. He and Hindley were truly evil, had something that makes a human human missing from them.

Quote
"So many children are beaten and murdered to realease the evil spirits inside them and it is going on in this country."

.......Especially when bed wetting is considered eto be evidence of possession by evil spirits in some cultures.

The results are evil, but sadly the beliefs are real. I don't know what you do about such misguided belief systems. And there are plenty in the western world too  :P

You need a deterant to make people think that the result of an action taken by them will end in something everybody understands and thats pain.

Bring back hanging if in no doubt of guilt.

Bring back the birch and our prisons would be almost empty.

And we as taxpayers wouldn't be shelling out every week for thier keep in prison.

The prisons are full of druggies and people who haven't paid fines !
Birch people with an addiction ? For not paying their tv licence ?
Hang those who murder ,but only those without doubt ? Timothy Evens ?
Thing is , the birch was never a deterant when it was used neither was hanging , if they were they would never have been used , but they were , so they don't work . The cane never worked at school either . I know !
But tell me how does beating the crap out of a pensioner for non payment of a tv licence fine make the those that carry out the 'punishment' any better than a druggie mugging the same pensioner for their tv licence money ? (some pensioners are really unlucky !)
You want empty  prisons , stop fining people when they can't pay . The courts are a money making scam and little more .
Stop the drug trade = half the people wouldn't end up in nick . However , the drug trade makes makes more money for the world economy than food . So that will never happen .
The system is corrupt . The people who run it should be the ones in nick ! Hang a few of those bastards and we may get somewhere .
But , beat the crap out of people , hang the buggers to save on taxes ? Jesus Christ ! Arbeit Macht Frei !
Lets get the ovens ready !

Well said Rusty

Quite apart from the issue that we are not infallible and can get convictions wrong, administering beatings as punishment brutalises the people who do the administering too - so damaging two. As Rusty says, if these and other uncivilised violences used elsewhere in the world, worked as deterrents they wouldn't have to be used - and that's not the case.

What Brady did was inhuman, we don't have to become the same in dealing with the likes of him.

Although , cf , i say i would hang a banker etc , in reallity i wouldn't .
I hate , detest and abhor that bastard Tony Blair , who has far more blood on his hands than all the murderers in prison , I don't think i could justify hanging him . Lock him up forever yes , but if i were to hang him , i would be the same as him , a piece of crap who should rot in hell .
I may well be a piece of crap , but i have never killed anyone , or harmed innocent women or children in any way let alone for personal gain .
The thing with mp's saying "we are wearing the white hats , so we can legally kill anyone we choose " , be it for oil , minerals or whatever , what message does that send to those who value life cheap anyway ?
I know there is the question " what if someone killed a family member" , i find that almost impossible to answer .
In a case like that my first response would be , they would never get to trial as i would kill them , but what if i got it wrong ?
No , i have to say i am against hanging .
I am not god or any other deity , who can decide upon life or death , but i like to think i am a better human being and value life , others as well as my own , more than i do vengeance .
The grumpy old man bit , who has far to much to say , i just live with , lol .
