Thanks Victorian Farmer - I am pleased with what I raised this year. I try to get them outside as much as I can it always seems to make for stronger stock, but hatching this year has been a nightmare for my Marans eggs. I think it is just so changeable on the humidity.
If we suddenly get a dry autumn I might have another go with the Marans, otherwise I shall just hope for a better 2013. Its my hobby so really I just sell on any spares - I don't want to make it into a "business" as I feel I wouldn't enjoy them then

I am really looking forward to this years pullets starting into lay. I can hardly wait for the colours of the eggs
